Swedish company STS Education AB was declared bankrupt by the Gothenburg District Court on August 11th, a ruling that at the time only affected the Swedish company.
In the agreement signed this week, the former owners of STS Education along with a new investor have agreed to buy back parts of the company, including most of the subsidiaries across Europe. A new entity called STS Education Group will be formed, taking over bookings and providing refunds for any clients waiting for them. (Matthew Knott, 2020)
